The Other Art Fair Los Angeles

I have just arrived back from Los Angeles following my debut at  The Other Art Fair. I left the UK feeling a little apprehensive as to what to expect or how my work would be received.   Luckily a friend and fellow artist Tim Fowler was also exhibiting and we had decided to share an apartment together,  which proved a great move.  We spent our mornings before the Art fair walking along Santa Monica beach followed by a visit to a food truck selling probably the best burritos I have ever had!

Better Days, solo exhibition at Marks and Tilt, St Alban's

I was delighted to exhibit my Better Days collection at Marks and Tilt gallery in St Alban's.

My solo show has now moved on to an exciting new gallery - The Viewing Room. Showing most of my recently formed 'Better Days' work. The gallery is located at Kommune, a former coop department store that has been rejuvenated into the go to spot in Sheffield. Nik and Jon, the gallery's owners, have done an amazing job in curating and getting it ready.

Portrait photo by Chris Saunders

During set up of my show "Better Days" I met up with the acclaimed photographer, Chris Saunders who asked if he could take my photo.

Reluctantly I agree to doing it, despite my entire show was themed around vanity and absence of important historical context. But it didn't take more than just overnight for Chris to return the next day with all of his equipment.
