In Bloom Exhibition at Saatchi Gallery
In August I was approached by Saatchi Gallery to provide my original Wallflowers painting for their In Bloom exhibition. In Bloom is a showcase of works with a floral theme, produced by a range of contemporary artists working in the UK today.
The exhibition features work by both emerging and established artists. The showcase explores the concepts of floral delicacy, beauty and vibrancy through explicit, symbolic and occasionally playful themes.
The opening private view was held on the evening of Friday 15th September. It was exciting to see Wallflowers grace the walls of the Saatchi gallery, alongside work from fellow contemporary artists. It was nice to be able to come together in such a prestigious venue to celebrate contemporary art.
The In Bloom exhibition ran alongside the Royal Horticultural Society’s Botanical Art and Photography Show, juxtaposing the contemporary nature of the art showcased at In Bloom.
